Dr. Gutierrez is the president of Pediatrics at the Park. With 30 years’ experience in the field of pediatrics as a former associate clinical professor of pediatrics at Hahnemann University, director of the HOPE clinic, a charity clinic in Philadelphia, attending physician at the New York Foundling Hospital and in private pediatric practice since 1999. Dr. Gutierrez has practiced in Philadelphia, PA, NYC, Jupiter, FL as well as had the experience of treating patients in parts of the world such as Asia, Central America and the Caribbean. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is involved with the Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs. He cares for patients with compassion and cutting-edge medical knowledge. As a result of his dedication and service to the community, he received the Arthur Ashe Voice of Conscience Award. He is trained in allopathic and Functional Medicine and strives to address illness by allowing the body to heal itself naturally when able, and treat with medication when necessary.
